The code uses the following patches to build this release of APR.
Some of them may not be needed in later release. See details
below:
    config.layout.patch  - 
        add OpenSolaris specific layout info
        (it is specific to OpenSolaris)
    apu-config.patch -
        make 'apu-config-1' script run from the build proto
        area
        (this issue is specific to Web Stack build environment)
    apr_common.m4.patch -
        set MKDEP to '$CC -xM' or '$CPP -xM' while using 
        Sun Studio compiler
        (it is specific to Sun Studio Compiler)
    dbd.m4.patch -
        add postgressql's lib dir to the run path
        Alterations to mysql's & sqllite's includes
        (it is specific to Solaris)
    expat.patch -
        add 64-bit expat library path to standard search path
        (it is specific to Solaris)
